Structure of school Day
There are ten periods each day, Monday to Friday.
School Hours
The following is the daily timetable for students. It is the same as 2009/2010.

Monday to Thursday
09.00 a.m. – 35mins
09.35 a.m. – 35mins
10.10 a.m. – 35mins
10.45 a.m. – 35mins
11.20 a.m. to 11.35 a.m. – Morning Break
11.35 a.m. – 35mins
12.10 p.m. – 35mins
12.45 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. – Lunch Break
01.30 p.m. – 35mins (Friday 30 minutes)
02.05 p.m. – 30mins
02.35 p.m. – 35mins – (Friday 30 minutes)
03.10 p.m. – 30mins
School Concludes at 3.40 p.m. (Concludes at 3.30 pm. on Fridays).
Friday – The same as above except the after lunch classes are all 30 minutes and school concludes at 3.30 p.m.
Breaks
Mid-morning: 11.20am to 11.35am
Lunch: 12.45pm to 1.30pm
Pupils are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours. Sixth Year pupils may go to the local shops during the lunch break.
Communication with Parents
The school endeavours to keep parents fully informed of their children’s application and progress. Written reports are supplied at Christmas and Summer. Parents are welcome to visit the school by appointment to meet their son’s Subject Teachers, Class Teacher, Year Head, Deputy Principal or Principal. Parent-Teacher meetings are also arranged.
Supervised Study
Evening study is offered from Monday to Friday during term times. Study commences after school for two hours. A moderate fee per term is charged.
School Uniform
The school uniform is both stylish and hard-wearing. It consists of :
- Trousers (Navy)
- V-Necked Pullover (Caribbean Blue)
- Shirt (Yellow)
- Shoes (Black – not boots, runners or tennis shoes)
The school stresses the desirability of purchasing items of uniform of Irish manufacturer and where possible we follow our own advice.
