Students Council
Student Council 2011 / 2012
CBS Thurles has a vibrant and active student council. At the beginning of each academic year a new Student Council is elected by the students. There are representatives from all years on the council. Their contribution to school life is very valuable and appreciated.
The student council will be very busy in the coming year, here are just a sample of some of the activities they will be getting involved in:
- Student Elections
- Council Meetings
- Leadership training with Foróige
- Fundraising (ISPCA, Simon Community, Down Syndrome Ireland etc.)
- Non – Uniform Days
