The school has been involved in the LCVP (Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme) since 1995. The LCVP is a full Leaving Certificate but with an additional certificate.
The LCVP contains three modules: enterprise education, preparation for work, work investigation, independent thinking, improved communication and teamwork are greatly enhanced any activity-based learning.
Students are encouraged to set up and run their own enterprises, a valuable lesson, which prepares them for the world of work. Students wishing to continue their education may submit their link module grade in place of their sixth Leaving Certificate. subject.
During the year guest speakers from the world of business, local entrepreneurs etc. visit the class, a Tax Inspector from the Revenue Commissioners explains the tax system, local media including newspapers and radio stations area availed of by the students to promote their Mini- Company products.
