C.B.S Thurles has a long and rich tradition in hurling, football and athletics. Basketballl is becoming more popular by the year.
Other sports played at PE and lunchtime are football, soccer, basketball, rounders and swimming.
The school employs a full-time professionally qualified physical education teacher. The aims of C.B.S Thurles has a large schoolyard suitable for many sports, two excellent full-sized GAA pitches with dressing rooms and showers.
Our Sports Hall provides us with PE facilities of the highest standards. Each class has a double period of PE each week plus other activities.
